Prediction for CME (2026-03-21T21:36:00-CME-001)CME Observed Time: 2026-03-21T21:36ZDONKI Link: https://kauai.ccmc.gsfc.nasa.gov/DONKI/view/CME/45241/-1 CME Note: Semi-faint CME visible to the S/SE in SOHO LASCO C2/C3, GOES CCOR-1 and to the SE in STEREO A COR2 imagery. The source of this CME appears to be a slow moving/opening of field lines and dimming/brightening in the SE quadrant of the Earth-facing disk starting around 2026-03-21T18:30Z as seen in GOES SUVI 195, 304, and 284 centered around S45E30. There is a second eruption visible near S60W50 which may contribute to overlapping features in the outflowing part at the back of the CME starting around 2026-03-22T00:30Z as seen in GOES SUVI 304 and 195. CME was not detected at Earth. Observed Geomagnetic Storm Parameters due to CME: ---- Predicted Arrival Time: 2026-03-27T00:00Z Predicted geomagnetic storm max Kp range due to CME: 2.0 - 3.0 Prediction Method: Median of all Methods Prediction Method Note: This is the auto generated median of all submitted predictions for this CME.Lead Time: 100.18 hour(s) Difference: ----- Prediction submitted by Auto Generated (CCMC) on 2026-03-22T19:49Z |
